When I went to my first gay pride, my friends were so supportive. They came with me and kept chanting "GAY GAY GAY GAY" as we walked past the closed minded idiots. I love my crew so much.

The first gay pride parade I attended was by myself. It was awkward at times, but looking back I am very proud of myself. I'm glad I have that experience going alone as a gay man.

I really loved the gay pride festival here in Valdosta. It was my first and great to escape that "South Georgia" stereotype and really become yourself. Free of stigma, bigotry and judgement. #LovingSouthGeorgia
