I barely spoke as a kid due to a speech impediment. But being forced to was the best thing for me. You never know what you can do until you're forced to do it.

I never give parenting advice unless the child has ADD or a speech impediment. Since I'm an adult that suffered from it as a kid. I can provide an insight about how their kid might feel.
