I hate people who say they 'don't believe in medication for mental illness'. You take medication for a cold or aches and pains. There's nothing wrong with taking medication for your brain as well.

Saying that you don't believe the different sexualities/genders are real is the same as saying that about mental illness. They're invisible and they can make or break someone

My parents don't believe in mental illness. I can't get diagnosed but I know I have severe depression.

It seriously bothers me that people don't believe in mental illness. Mental illness is a chemical imbalances that has scientific research behind it. Seriously, I'm just glad I'm open about my experience to educate others.

I hate how just because you can't see a mental illness physically, people don't believe it's there. It's sad that people have to hurt themselves just for someone to notice something's wrong
