It was the 90s I didn’t like the way condoms felt and I was bored. Kids are annoying, but I still love mine and would do anything for them.

I was not a “kid person” but I knew I wanted to be a mom. It was timing. My husband and I had been married a year, I had a good job and home and I was 32. It felt like the right time (and it was).

I just always wanted to be a mom
However, I hadn’t planned on being a single mom...

I didn't want kids, but I changed my mind once I lost my mom and uncle in the same 6 months. I realized I wanted to be like my grandma and sit around a table with a big family, surrounded by love.

I had children because I wanted to give someone else all the love I never got growing up (my parents were toxic and verbally/physically abusive) I did it for love!
