The Heartbreaking Reality Of Losing Your Mother To Childbirth
The content below was sourced from real posts on the Whisper app, the largest online community where people anonymously share real thoughts and feelings. Join the community to continue the conversation today. Babies are born everyday and women make it through labor safely everyday as well. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. Sometimes mistakes or complications occur and some women don't make it out alive. This painful situation hurts the entire family involved and often leaves the children left behind, especially the ones during the tragic birth, feeling like the cause of it all. These are the confessions from those children left behind, who had their time cut short with their mothers. Their painful confessions will remind you how dangerous childbirth can be and to hug your mom a little tighter, if you are lucky enough to have her around.

Aww.

My mom had me at 19, died during childbirth. I lived with my grandparents, uncles, aunts for a while and they all hate me. I live with my friend now. Only real family I have are my friends and girlfriend.

Confession: I've never met my mom, because she died during childbirth... I've never met her, but I still miss her. I hate having birthdays, because it's also her death anniversary...

It's hard to not think like that.

When I was born my mother died at childbirth and my dad and two older sisters are the ones who take care of me. I wonder if they blame for my mom not being around.

To all the kids saying how much they hate their over protective parents:

Cherish them. My mom died in childbirth with me and I wish I had a chance
to have her nag at me,
even just for one day

Incredible.

My mom went into labor on her birthday while at work, she died during childbirth. Last year, I got shot and I nearly died. When I was in the hospital, I felt like my mom came to me and gave me strength.
